As you have already noticed, chemistry expressions derive from Latin words. Don´t you remember school chemistry? So, try to translate the chemistry-related words based on this. Then, go to google (Portuguese), and submit them. If even so you do not achieve anything, try to ask the person that ordered the translation. Like that: Do you say ácido carboxílico, is it correct? Another idea is to buy some technical dictionaries. They help.

I am not denying to help you. But you have to learn to become independent.
