You guys understand english much better than I can express myself in port, so perhaps I should say it in eng:

What I want to know is whether there is a higher percentage of people in Brasil who know something about growing food than in the USA. Here, on average, very few people know anything about it - who have 'horticultural knowledge' - probably less than one in a hundred (1% ou menos).

What would y'all guess is the percentage, in general, in Brasil? I understand that Brasil still has a functioning peasantry in rural areas, whereas in the US this has mostly disappeared, so just tell me how it is in your semi-urban or urban areas.
