"Accepted"? 

 

"Settled" certainly can be used to mean "established" in the sense of residence.  Both are often used to refer to people living in an area, working in an area, etc.  "He settled in Seattle."  "She established her business and home in Laramie." 

 

Again, the expression "Break a leg" comes to us from the theater.
