That's what I'm talking about: getting rid of accent.
I have the impression that it's easier for us Brazilians to speak English without accent than for English native-speakers to speak Portuguese without accent. I mean, the "r" sound, for example, it looks like it's hard for them to get rid of the English r sound, like in "sorvete", or the r sound in "maroto", seems they always pronounce the English like r.
Perhaps they sense the same too even when talking to our best English speakers
What do you native speakers think about it?
