Mensagem:  "craft" is a verb, although not very commonly used as one anymore. "Arts and crafts" is a common term where "crafts" is a noun. So it would be "make crafts" which sounds quite strange; normally one would identify what is being made more specifically. And if "craft" is a verb, then of course it doesn't need to be used with the similar verb "make". One could say: "I shall craft a handsome wooden bowl for you" This kind of language is generally only used by those wishing to amuse, if it were said seriously it would sound pompous. Sorry for the long-winded explanation; the short explanation is that "craft" used on it's own as a verb is rare.
