Thank you for your ideas, indeed I was only looking for a nice counterpart for the sentence in Portuguese. 

 

I guess wind is a neutral word for air moviment, breeze might be too soft but I don't think a windy  place is a place where the wind blows heavily, it would only be a place where there's lot of wind all year long or for a certain period of the year.

 

What do you think?
