Actually, those names and Viera as well, are very common in southeastern New England - so if one's regional accent was native-like, one would easily pass as native regardless of color.
People of mixed color and Portuguese names are common where I live. But of course it is very easy for a white Brit to "pass" as American - if they can assume an american accent. I'm not sure how easy that is for most.
