Mensagem:  To mean balada, you could use the words disco or club (I know this last one is very popular at least in Canada right now). There is also the word dance of course, but that reminds me more of a school dance or a ball, which doesn't sound like a good translation for balada (I could be wrong, though!). If you want to say "Eu vou pra balada", you could try "I'm going to a disco" or "I'm going clubbing". Again, the last expression is common in Canada and I guess it means "going from one club to the other looking for girsl/guys". I'm not really familiar with the word revel, but as a noun, I guess it could be a translation for balada as well.
