Encher lingüiça = to beat around the bush, stall, drag out a story, pad, fill up space.
"Parece-me que, ultimamente, a TV Loco vem enchendo lingüiça com programas pequenos, quase inúteis"
(It seems to me that Loco TV X has started filling its prime-time slot with a myriad of short nearly worthless TV programs in an effort to keep expectators from shifting channels.) <-- This seems a lot bigger for words than the conciseness of written original would tolerate. But I won't pad it with any more words than it already carries.
Also, I can't think of any more sentence examples using "encher lingüiça" in English. We shouldn't beat around the bush.
