We should let go of bad behavior.

 

It still sounds strange to me.

 

"From what I understood, we could consider that when one says "we should let go of sth", they are no longer using that anymore, so that with time it is forgotten. There is no intention of making it disappear"

 

Ah...you are proving my point!  Is the writer saying that we are no longer using bad behavior?  No, it just doesn't make sense.  And in time, I don't think bad behavior will be forgotten.  And why wouldn't you want bad behavior to disappear?  As I've said before, it still sounds strange to me.
