I'd suggest: "She is always looking what's in it for her."
I can't think of a good translation for "interesseira". I have a Collins dictionary that gives "self-seeking", but possibly that is a British expression. I think in the USA you'd have to explain what you mean, as Raquel did. In Spanish the word is "intersado", somewhat close to the Portuguese word.
