Assunto:  Get to grips with phrasal verbs!

Mensagem:

I was wondering if you guys could lend me a hand on this test I'm taking on the internet. They want me to come up with the right phrasal verb equivalents for the following, and albeit I've already tried my best. Except for "to recover from a serious illness", that is "get over" I haven't been successful so far.

'to have an animal killed because it is very ill or suffering badly'
'to abolish something'
'to make a mistake'
'to recover from a serious illness'
'to receive criticism or blame for something'

Thanks a lot.
