Can anybody help me to understand the end of David Bowie's "Soul Love" lyrics? That is, assuming it has some meaning, which I can't say I always find in Bowie's lyrics.
Of course I'm not asking a profound interpretation of what is the meaning of this passage, but only an elementary language interpretation to help me to figure out the meaning.
From "though reaching up" on I didn't get anything.
"Soul love - the priest that tastes the word and
Told of love - and how my God on high is
All love - though reaching up my loneliness evolves
By the blindness that surrounds him"
