Assunto:  Propaganda

The fact that there are many kinds of "propagandas" makes me confused. When we talk about "propagandas" that we can see on TV, is "commercial" the only word that can be used? As for the "propagandas" that we can seen on billboards, are they "advertisements" only? How do you say "propaganda política" in English? Propaganda?????

Ah! We can also use "propaganda" in the following way:

1 - Ele estava fazendo propaganda de seu livro no meio da aula.

2 - O meu filho fez a maior propaganda de sua professora.


Would you please give me some help on this difficulty of mine?
