He thought it didn't make a lot of sense and didn't think it was funny. He said that according to his understanding the man should not be automatically blamed for his wife's unfaithfulness. He said that rather than calling the man something, he would call the woman a slut or a tramp.

 

Very interesting the cultural differences of opinion on the subject.

O homem macho que é passado pra tras é um froxo, "macho, o que, é um cornudo"!

What woman would prefer some-one else over the real macho, she's got at home or on the side? The fault is his if he can't look after what he's got. If macho man can't, he's not that macho and that is funny.

Now take the other mentality: a kind and understanding husband or companion, being cheated on by his wife or companion because of some silly infuation for some gigolo.

Pityful, isn't it?  Let's throw stones at the wife/companion.
