When I first read "doggies", I don't know why, but I thought of little dogs, like poodles. Maybe I imagined the stupid girls as socialites cariocas with their poodles going to Daslu to do some shopping.

Is this interpretation correct? Or "doggies" can't mean "little dogs"?
