Mensagem:  Hi Sergio I'm afraid to say both these phrasal verbs have nothing to do one another. At least that's what I think. I've been wondering but have not found an example where they could be synonyms. Maybe someone else get it. look for= to try to find something or somebody either because you've lost it or need it find out= to discover ( mainly ) We found out that it was his birthday. I'm trying to find out what you have been thinking. I am looking for my pants. Try to look for an answer. ( perhaps this is a synonym ) Cheers, André
