I want to ask a question to enrich the original question.

How should we describe a dish that is a house speciality. In Brazil it is often recommended that you order the "houses dish".

If it is  fish the the menu will read " peixe a moda da casa".

Would this be translated as " the houses fish special" or perhaps " Our fish special". Maybe special shoudn´t be used at all because it can also and sometimes only mean that the dish has a lower price or has the same price as other dishes but comes with more variations of food.

                     Please help us here.
