Mensagem: | 'Laundry' (clothes that are being cleaned) is also known as 'the wash'. People 'hang out the wash' or 'hang out the laundry'. So it can be 'clothes-line' or 'washing line'; the latter term would be more common in British English. However, a 'washing line' might also mean a line of people washing dishes, etc in a large kitchen or some such place. |
