Assunto:  Traffic Jam Vs Congestion
 
Mensagem:  The meanings are pretty close. The only difference I can think of is usage: "traffic jam" is for sure more colloquial than "traffic congestion". According to Wikipedia, "a period of extreme traffic congestion is colloquially known as a traffic jam".
