Assunto: | go for x go infor |
Mensagem: |
These two verbal combinations will overlap in meaning in at least one of their multiple senses, particularly that of "having, showing or otherwise developing an interest in or liking for (something/someone)." As far as interchangeability, you may state that either "X goes for music in a big way" or "X goes in for music..." and never have to regret it. You may go for sports or go in for it, right? Has one form in any way superseded the other? |
