I've noticed that lots of native speakers tend not to pronounce the letter 't' (in "meet") when saying "nice to meet you". Instead, they just make a short pause, producing a sound similar to "nice to mee' you". On the other hand, some Brazilians pronounce the 't' in a very strong manner, something that sounds like "nice to mee chew", which I don't think is the best pronunciation. I'd like to know, from a native standpoint, which of the following manners of pronouncing the 't' sounds better: - Strong 't' sound (Brazilian way); - Silent 't' sound; - Very subtle 't' sound (yet audible).
