Marcio, it was interesting to read that you found more hits for babbel than blabber.  I assume both words have the same origin:  the Tower of Babel.  Both mean to speak incoherently, but to blabber has a few uses not generally associated with babbel.


He was blabbering (complaining) about his job.

Don't go blabbering/blabbing this to the police.  (Don't tell this secret to the the police.)


People who can't keep secrets or talk too much are called blabber mouths.
