Mensagem:  That's interesting. When I first read Eddie's sentences, I thought the word 'couple' meant 'two'. I realize the word 'couple' can mean 'two' or a 'a few', but I think it's hard to tell which meaning was intended just by looking at the context (in most cases at least). Therefore, if I meant 'a few' (not necessarily two), I guess I'd tend to avoid the word 'couple'. Of course that wouldn't be wrong, but I'd try to avoid confusion.
