Mensagem:  One of the best books I've seen is "Ingles urgente para brasileiros".  It's one of the few Brazilian texts I trust.  You don't mention the ages of your students, how well they speak their own language, etc.  If they are children, you need to look for something more at their level with topics of interest and use to them.
