Mensagem: | Greetings Ricardo, Do you know if there is any correlation between one's easy ability to learn a foreign language and his or her Math reasoning capabilities? In other words, is the part of the brain reponsible for verbal and cognitive skills the same as the part responsible for mathematical reasoning? The reason I'm asking is that I, for instance, have fairly decent verbal (Language) skills. Nonetheless, when it comes to mathematical reasoning, I usually show poor skills. What I was wondering is that it could be just my laziness, or it could be that some other part of my brain isn't as developed as others. I thought that you, as a sort of a cognitive specialist, would probably have an answer for me. So if you would, please reply -Miguel Vieira |
