Breno, we have a similar problem in English.  Although we are taught to say "ma'am", some women (especially younger women) object.  So, do we say "miss"?  Some don't like that either.


"Moco" always sounded odd to me.  A grown man being called "moco"?  It sounds like something out of an Amado novel. 


Well, at least we are trying to treat others with courtesy and respect.
