Not yet, the term would be more to the sense as in ´´taking a lift´´ (pegando carona) as there is a expression in Portuguese, in the book How to say Everything in 30 minutes (como dizer tudo em 30 minutos) I remember the author use the word ´´gancho´´ a lot in the translated version, so might be a word in English, but my memory don´t serves me well this moment. Anyway, I know that the expression exists (at least in Portuguese), and might be an expression or sentences in English. I´m grateful by your effort, soon we all will know it, like the old adage "Everything comes to him who waits". Thanks. |
