Assunto:  Poets hate poets, translators hate...
 
Mensagem:  ... translators. None of us here can tell exactly why they hate each other, can we?

In these days of violence and intimidation which seem to plague our modern society, as sure as hell we can pinpoint the reasons behind a drug lord's struggle against another drug lord, but can we pinpoint the reasons behind a book writer's fight against another book writer for fame, recognition and for dollars? Does a translator envy another translator's work? Does envying and hating involve some gut reaction?
