I want to know how to say "comprovante de residência" in English.
proof of residence
Would it be "residence document" or "utility bill"??
I've never heard of a "residence document". A utility bill (bill for lights, gas, water, telephone, etc.) is a common way to prove residence.
Does anybody know how to say "boleto bancário" in English?
Is it "bank payment slip"??
I think so. Better ask someone else. Maybe "bank deposit slip"?
Just one more thing. What is the verb tense that we use with "up until recently/last year/yesterday..."? Past Simple, Present Perfect, Past Perfect...?
I was Sheriff of Cochise up until last year.
Up until recently, I was a happy man. Then I got married.
Things were fine up until yesterday.
I did a google on it, but I'm still none the wiser!!
Hope you can help me.
