|Assunto:||Hello, it´s my first access/posting.|
"How are you doing?" is a very nice expression, very friendly. "How is it going?" is good too. If I were introduced to the President of Italy, I'd probably say something more formal, but otherwise the expressions are fine.
Johannes, things are going well. A Brazilian film festival begins next week. I've seen most of the films, but I'd like to see the comedies again. I took my son to a very nice churrascaria a few weeks ago. Yes, there are a few Brazilian businesses here. I'm very active with Scouting here. Last night I attended a meeting at the City Hall of Santo Domingo where I live. It's a small city and I can't walk down the street without someone recognizing me and saying hello (and "Keep away from my daughter!"). I'm attending the Centro de Dante Alighieri, getting back into Italian. It's fun and interesting. Yesterday I took Italian pastries to the office staff and my classmates. While we were eating them during the break, the office staff came in and sang "Happy Birthday" to me. It's was a nice surprise!
