||ohhs and ahhs
Dear Dede, here goes my two cents worth:
Ohs and ahs -used to denote something that causes great surprise (I used "great" to emphasize the quality of the emotion) and to denote a group (generaly) approving albeit unexpected, of a happening/event (sometimes when they see an fenomenon that they will remember for a lifetime span):
-The ohs and ahs from tourists showed that they were amazed with Copacabana´s fireworks.
-The other actresses were all ohs and ahs when saw the Gwyneth Paltrow´s
dress vee neckline, when she raised to take the Oscar.
(only in my imagination buddies, this is a creation of mine,for the example´s sake ok?)
