Mensagem:  Thinking about takes a lot more active thinking than does thinking of. Thinking of going to your friend's party takes less mental and decissive effort than does thinking about going to it. Thinking about going to your friend's party will indicate you strongly consider going to it.

Before posting this message, I thought about it for hours, I thought about how easily it would read to you.

When Jack thinks of San Francisco, he thinks about the 60s, about Jack Kerouac, about how the hippies would advocate peace in the face of belligerent jingoism.
