Dear Friends,

First of all let me tell you that I really admire your fantantic work on this site. I have been visiting it since 2003 and everytime I surf this wonderful site I learn more and more.

I friend of mine came to me today with the following sentence: "My classmates are a lot of fun".  I got surprised because he'd learned this on the English class, and I never, never saw "a lot of " being refered to people, but I always see it used in situations, like : "This weekend I had a lot of fun" or "I have a lot of fun with my new friends"  Could you please let me know if is it correct? or Am I mistaken?

Thank you for you attention and please keep this great job!!

Sonia
