-the freedictionary.com returned "Running Days" as "(Com.) the consecutive days occupied on a voyage under a charter party, including Sundays and not limited to the working days." Note the above definition that you found. It is for voyages. Merriam-Webster gave a similar definiiton. Possibly the Brits use it differently than Americans. I've never claimed to speak British English. In American business literature, I do not recall ever reading the term. I am sticking to my translation. |
