I'd agree with Meloh. It's not required, but there is no harm in leaving it it.
If you use it, do not translate it. I'd leave it as written:: Centro. The concept of bairros is not known in the US. True, we speak of "neighborhoods", but it's not the same.
By the way, "centro" is probably best translated as "downtown". In a conversation you will hear "Downtown Los Angeles", but I can't imagine seeing it used as part of an address. The street, the number, and the zipcode (the full zipcode if possible) are all you need.
