The client was charged 5 cents for delivery by the Department Store. A Loja de Departamentos cobrou 5 centavos pela entrega (do produto).
In the sense of "cobrança" as we have in Brazil I would not venture a word for it, for I don´t know the process in the U.S. for example. The closest concept I know, is this: The customer received a bill from a store by mail. I don´t know for sure, but I vaguely recall that somebody said once to me that phoning something at work or even at home would be regarded as harassment in such countries, making threats would be unthinkable, then. Natives, clarify us on that, please.
