Mensagem: | Dear Miguel That's hard to say, maybe it's as asking about the perception of a very rich person, but low-educated towards a high-educated person but poor, I strongly believe that the perception will vary from person to person, maybe he/she will not care about being monolingual or low-educated, maybe he/she will be envy or jelous about the intelectual achievement of the other, who knows? And Miguel, normally this kind of person (monolingual and rich) live in an environment where it's not too important knowing another language, Brazil is a very mono-lingual country by nature, history....or if necessary, the Englisg fluent person may get a job from the monolingual to deal with hypothetical foreign clients. I Hope that helps. José Roberto. |
