They make music with great enthusiasm and are contaminated by the virus of singing in vocal. They are TOQUE DE ARTE [who is bringing out their second album called PELOS 4 CANTOS] that now releases a second CD – PELOS QUATRO CANTOS by Albatroz label.
[Over than ten years]With more than 10 years on the road, [which seven were] at the unforgettable Butiquim do Martinho, invited by Martinho da Vila himself, TOQUE DE ARTE[has moved] moved to Lapa (downtown of Rio de Janeiro – BR) where they perform to their faithful audience. They are a vocal-group but being also multi-instrumentalists. They have often performed as a quartet as well. Sometimes inviting other musicians to play along with them as a band. The band is compound by Marcelo Eloi (vocal and percussion), Marcio Costa (vocal, small guitar and percussion), Marcelo China (vocal and guitar) and Fernando Regis (vocal, small guitar and percussion).
On this second album CD, the group counts [with]on Alcione, also known, A Marrom who sings along with them her hit – Rio Antigo and Alceu Maia, a small guitar player.
The repertoire, Paulinho da Viola, Djavan, Alceu Valença, Benito di Paula, Chico Buarque, João Nogueira and Silas de Oliveira. Also in this album CD, four new songs by the own group and most of the arrangements.
With vocal arrangements by Magro, TOQUE DE ARTE starts to travel around the country singing with no instruments, in a totally Brazilian music style.
