Assunto:  Do the ironing
 
Mensagem:  I wonder if "to press my shirt" is British.  An American would tend to use "to iron my shirt" but "to press my pants".  I think the difference (in the USA) is "to press" is used more in the sense of removing wrinkles, putting in a crease, etc., and "to iron" is used more in passing an iron over the entire article of clothing. 

No matter how you cut it, ironing sucks rocks.
