Mensagem:  The problem is that sometimes it's quite complicated for some Brazilians who have just started studying English to figure out why we can't (or shouldn't) say "I didn't say nothing", because that structure is the one that sounds most natural to us, Brazilians, when we speak Portuguese: Eu não disse nada. Saying "Eu disse nada" would sound awkward, strange and somewhat foreigner. I guess the use of the double negative structure in Portuguese could be considered a mistake that has been incorporated into our every day language and we just can't get rid of it now.
