Hi Dale,

 

   Thank you so much for your answers! I loved them. But, I still have three questions. Could you help me again, please?   

 

1) In this sentence: " It is asked for the audience to stand up and clap", you wrote:

                         

                             "It is that the audience stand up and clap." (I didn't understand this very well. You mean: "É solicitado para que a platéia se levante e aplauda"  ?). By the way in a similar sentence should I say:  "The actors saw the audience stands up and claps" (or) "The actors saw the audience stand up and clap" ?

 

2) "It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it."  (here what is the grammar explanation for using It's ... If  the word "impurity " is in the plural form?  

3) Finally, is the public who attend a play in a theater called "audience" or is this word only used for the public of  TV and radio programs? (Here I think I also could say: the public who attends, don't I ? (In fact, I have some troubles with this point of the grammar, sometimes).
