Mensagem:  I follow your logic.

I don't want to confuse any more than necessary, but it's even possible to say "publics".  It's used when referring to the multiple "publics" a speaker has had in Rio, Vienna, Roma, San Francisco, etc.  (Or possibly to the public that reads his books, the public that sees his movies, the public that listens to his radio broadcasts, etc.)  It sounds strange to my ears, but a good dictionary will tell you that it's correct.
