Assunto:  Killer app

Hello folks,

Last week I came across the following expression: "killer app".  The Advanced Learner's Dictionary defines:

1. a computer program that is much better than all others of its type

2. a use for a particular tecnology that becomes extremely popular, as in Many software companies and internet providers believe that e-learning is the next killer app.

No big deal so far. I got the meaning.

But how would you say that in Portuguese??

Tks a bunch
