Mensagem:    In a (more stronger) sense is "encher o saco", also may be "pegar no pé" (para alguém fazer algo, por exemplo), insistir em (uma coisa/uma idéia) etc.
  There are plenty of concepts for  nag, but all that I can think of just now,  are in a  negative kind.    However, as they say, the thought is what counts: my mother can keep nagging me to wash before going to bed (to me is a good "urging" because it´s an action of my liking; but one can deem such a nagging a bore).

So nagging is when us urge somebody in a  insistent way  to do something.
