At least is what I conclude from examples and explanations given in the book Grammar in Use by Raymond Murphy with
The present perfect implies that we are talking about an action happened in a period of time that continues up to the present. In the unit 15 there are other examples given in its topics.
Well, let´s wait natives´ and teachers´ reply, just to be in the safe side. Okay?
