In the USA...
Romario foi cortado - Nothing wrong with "was cut".
- Juan foi dispensado por excesso de contingente -Maybe "dropped". I do not know the difference between "to cut" and "to drop". Both mean that the player is no longer on the team. "Conscripted" only applies to the military. "Drafted" can be used by the military or professional sports teams.
- Certificado de reservista - No idea. When you have completed your military service, you are given "a discharge" and the document is referred to as "discharge papers". Certificado de reservista may refer to something that doesn't exist in the USA.
the insurance question -Another good term is "robbery". You are paying for something that you are not getting. A "grace period" is a term following the due date of a payment during which you will not be penalized for making a late payment. (A) You must pay Plano de Saude Cruz Azul R$200 on or before the 5th day of the month. If you miss the 5th, you can pay on or before the 10th without having to acquire a new policy or pay a fine of R$50 for being late. (B) You pay R$3 per hour to park your car. There is a grace period of five minutes. If you arrive more than five minutes after the hour, you will be charged for a second hour.
