As lindas/maravilhosas condições do tempo na primavera, nos tira qualquer desculpa para se exercitar.>>


PP, by default or not the single subject weather in "Spring's gorgeous weather" takes a verb singular (robs), doesn't it?


As for the Portuguese, a verb plural might as well go with "... condições..." (tiram) as far as subject-verb agreements in romance languages go. Or stay.
