Mensagem:  Muller, as I recall, it was posted months ago that in Australia the name is "bus conductor".

I've never seen a "cobrador de onibus" in the USA.  You pay the driver as you enter the bus, or you show him a "pass", a ticket-like document that shows you have the right to ride the bus during a specific period of time (such as during the month of October 2008).
