Mensagem:  Don't forget that many times a "sindico" does not do any of the work around the building. He manages the funds, signs contracts, hires painters, arranges for landscaping, etc. of a condominium. If it's a condominium and the "sindico" falls into this category he may be salaried or a volunteer. Usually this person is called a Condominium Manager. Depending on the by-laws of the condominium he or she might be called the Condomium President and there might be a Condominium Board to assist in the day to day decision making process. It just depends on how big a condominium you're talking about. A lot of times a building manager isn't working for a condominium but rather for a person or bank who owns the whole building, townhouses or apartment complex.
